Description
Seeburg booster amplifier for use with mono tube amplifiers. Improves the sound significantly if your jukebox is equipped with a Pickering 340 or other replacement cartridge. Also increases the output of low-volume needles in "Redhead" and "Blackhead" cartridges.
In machines equipped with the original tube amp, this "Booster" amp is used to get the most out of your tube amp! Besides more gain, this booster also provides more bass because the "roll-off" is less active in the volume control (your bass and treble controls can still be set as desired).
The booster attaches magnetically to your tube amp and is powered by an included cord that connects to your amp's 6SK7 jack (AVC is then dropped). You just need to connect the power supply, input and output and adjust the gain with the supplied micro screwdriver.
If you want to continue using the AVC or if you have an M100B (with MRA1-L6 amplifier) or 101/161/201 (with HFMA2-L6 amplifier), you should choose the version with a separate adapter.
